Stade Français owner Hans-Peter Wild, the day after the Parisian rugby club's survival: "We need a French partner"

Hans Peter Wild is relieved. Owner of Stade Français Paris since 2017, the Swiss businessman of German origin attended his club's victory against Castres (21-10) on Saturday, June 7, at the Jean-Bouin Stadium, during the final day of the Top 14. A home victory synonymous with staying in the elite of professional rugby.
The billionaire spoke the next day to several media outlets, including Le Monde , in a Parisian palace about Stade Français's trying season. "We made mistakes," said the owner of the Capri-Sun fruit juice company. After eight years at the helm of the Parisian club, he said he was looking for a French partner. "I'm almost 84, I have to find solutions."
What is your assessment of Stade Français' season? He's not good, that's clear. We started the season with injuries, then we had problems with the coaches. The situation wasn't very clear between Karim [Ghezal] , Laurent [Labit] and Paul [Gustard] ; this created a lot of confusion. We parted ways with Karim [at the end of September 2024] , then later with Laurent [in March 2025] , and since then it's been fine. There's only one boss.
